Holiyay Outfit Diaries: Bohemian Florals

When I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I’d be milkin’ my lil getaway to paradise with my boyfriend for as long as possible over here on the blog, I wasn’t jokin’. I’m back today with another OOTD (or OOTN to be specific) from the Canary Islands.

I recently picked this dress up from Topshop and I am fully in love with it. When I’m on holiday- actually, who am I kidding, I’m generally a fan of this- I like those key, statement pieces that you can just throw on, no fuss, and instantly look put together. Around 0% effort required, an’ all that. I’m a fan. To get yo hands on this dress, head to the Topshop site here v v quick, as it’s selling owwwt !!

I’m v much a dress gal- I hardly wear trousers. I just feel myself and most comfortable in a floaty maxi and this dress is so perfect for both abroad and back in the UK. The cut is so flattering- it’s between a midi and maxi style, which I did first of all think wouldn’t work with all 5ft of me. There seems to be this fashion myth that midi skirts and dresses should NOT be worn if you’re a small lil thing, however I say ‘what a loada rubbish’ to myths like that. Ignore those fashion rules and dress in what makes you feel fabulous.

The busy floral print on the dress is gorgeous, and the bardot detailing (which isn’t fully shown here, due to me being extremely sunburnt and having to cover up my décolletage area as much as possible lol poor me) is so beaut. The dress is a statement in itself, so accessories-wise I kept it simple. My bohemian fave, this H&M hat, was actually purely worn to cover lil sunburnt me as much as possible, but I really love how it adds to the outfit. I wore my trusty Pandora rings (that never leave my hands after my boyfriend bought me them a while back) and that was that.

Despite looking like a pink n white nougat sweet, I still managed to be a v happy bunny this evening, due to having just been offered the dream internship at Heat & Closer Magazines in London !!!! We headed out for a celebratory dinner and it was fun fun fun. I wanna be back on holiday again, minus sunburn pls. Sad times.
